Rosalie Ávila Obtiene su Día, Día de la Prevención de Bullying

No puedo explicar lo tanto que amo esto.  

La asambleísta Eloise Gómez Reyes de San Bernardino presentó la Resolución Concurrente 256 de la Asamblea para declarar el 27 de julio de 2018 como el Día de Prevención del Acoso.  La resolución también designa la fecha como el Día de Rosie en honor a la vida de Rosalie Ávila, una niña de 13 años de la ciudad de Yucaipa que se quitó la vida después de ser víctima de bullying en su escuela secundaria.

Queremos agradecer a la asambleísta Eloise Reyes, por esta resolución excepcional en honor a Rosalie Ávila, quien fue encontrada colgada a causa de bullying que sufrió en su escuela. Rosalie no está sola. Ella no es la única niña que ha sufrido bullying, su muerte nos afectó y realmente nos sacudió para hacer conciencia de la realidad y de que no podemos permitir que esto continúe. Aplaudimos a la asambleísta y apoyamos esta resolución y el día de concientización.
