Rocio Aguayo was born and raised in San Bernardino, CA. She was yearbook editor-in-chief for two years while attending Arroyo Valley High School and worked with a fellow student to revive the school's newspaper. She also had previously done freelance work for a local paper, Inland Empire Community News and created sexual and reproductive health content for the California Family Health Councils "teensoure.org". She earned an Associates Degree in Behavioral Sciences from San Bernardino Valley College and is working on a Political Science Bachelor's Degree at the University of California, Riverside. Rocio is involved with local organizations: Inland Congregations United for Change, the Associated Student Government of San Bernardino Valley College, Youth Action Project and San Bernardino Generation Now.
