Cecy Equihua currently teaches kindergarten at Lucille Roybal-Allard Elementary School and has been working as a teacher for 12 years. She grew up in Huntington Park and always knew she wanted to return to her community to teach. She is living her dream. Equihua has a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies with a minor in Spanish from California State University, Long Beach and her teaching credential from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
