Isabel Carrera is a graduate student in the environmental studies program at the University of Washington School of Environment and Forest Science. She has a background in biological sciences and science and technology studies. In the United States, Isabel has engaged in several outreach projects to attract Latino/Hispanic students into the so-called STEM areas.
