For as long as she can remember, Melanie Gutierrez has always loved reading and writing. She is currently a high school senior at Huntington Park Institute of Applied Medicine and getting ready to graduate this June. She will start college Fall of 2017. She plans on getting a bachelor’s degree in creative writing. Outside of school and writing she enjoys listening to music and going on adventure in Downtown LA with her friends.
