Student Scholar Program Applications for the 2020 Deadline Coming Up Soon

The California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce Foundation (CHCCF) is currently accepting applications for the 2020 Creating a Path to Success (CAPS) Student Scholar Program.

In 2004, as part of the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce (CHCC) 25th Anniversary and the 50th Anniversary of the landmark decision of Brown v. Board of Education, the CHCC launched the first CAPS Program. The “CAPS” program, celebrating its 16th year, was designed to develop and empower Hispanic college students to become the next generation of successful civic and business leaders through training, network-building, and ongoing engagement with leaders in the business community.

“The CHCC Foundation is committed to developing educational programs that develop Hispanic leaders for our chambers and Hispanic community,” stated James Duran, CHCC Foundation Chairman.

The program is an intensive 6-month training that provides real-world skills for young professionals, such as interview skills, etiquette for professional gatherings, networking and learning about optimizing personal strengths. Today, there are over 150 “CAPS” Alumni throughout the United States.

Deadline to submit applications for the CAPS program is January 20, 2020 by 11:59pm (PST)
