Dr. Elise Sanchez is a Xicana born and raised in Southern California. She is a first generation college student, now Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY31369). Dr. Sanchez is an Educator with experience teaching at the community college, graduate level, and California Institution for Women. She imagines a world where everyone is living authentic, wholehearted, purposeful lives. She inspires others by leading them out of ignorance through education and serving as an advocate for those who have been silenced. Dr. Sanchez promotes mental wellness because if we heal ourselves, families and communities we make the world a better place for ALL of us. Dr. Sanchez’s mission is to help everyone she meets feel seen, heard, and understood. She mentors, coaches, and counsels people to pursue their dreams and make them a reality. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Azusa Pacific University and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Pepperdine University. She received her doctorate in Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is the founder of Speak the Secret an online platform dedicated to combating shame and connecting us through storytelling by sharing stories of strength, hope, resilience and love.
